All applicants must provide UTHSCSA with official scores from the Graduate Record Examination (general test). Test scores should be sent to the UTHSCSA Office of the Registrar directly from the Educational Testing Service. (UTHSCSA Code: 6908)

Foreign applicants must also submit official scores from the TOEFL. The following are the minimum requirements of the Graduate School:

Paper-based: 560
Computer-based: 220
Internet-based: 68
