Congratulations Nicole Eassa!

Nicole’s first author publication, “α5-GABAA receptor modulation reverses behavioral and neurophysiological correlates of psychosis in rats with ventral hippocampal Alzheimer’s disease-like pathology” was published in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences.

Congratulations to Shawn Flynn!

The University of Texas System has awarded Shawn the prestigious Jess Hay Chancellor’s Graduate Student Research Fellowship! The Vice Chancellors stated, “Mr. Flynn is truly an outstanding student, working in a critical area of biomedical research for Texas and the entire nation.”

Shawn also received the John P. McGovern Fellowship from the Texas Research Society on Alcoholism. This award recognizes a student member of TRSA currently involved in substance use disorder research.
