2011 Chairman's Award for Excellence

The Department of Pharmacology held its annual Employee Appreciation Lunch on December 16, 2011. During this luncheon, awards are distributed to Pharmacology employees, including the annual 'Chairman's Award for Excellence'. This award is based on recommendations from Pharmacology faculty and recognizes the 'extras' these classified employees contribute to the Department of Pharmacology, throughout the year.

There are two categories for the awards, Research and Administrative and the award recipients receive a cash award as part of the honor. This year's Research category winner is Teresa S. Chavera (pictured above, right), a Research Associate-Senior, in Dr. William Clarke's lab, and this year's Administrative winner is Joel A. Hager (pictured below, left), the Information Technology Specialist for the department. The recipients are receiving their awards from the Department of Pharmacology Chairman, Dr. Alan Frazer.
