Hobbies and Interests

I am a dog person and spend too much money on my mastiff and great dane, my favorite team is the San Antonio Spurs, I make jewelry, have an online business (VintageResearch) and enjoy yoga and kayaking

Research

Allison is employing biochemical, molecular, pharmacological, and electrophysiological techniques to better understand specific protein-protein interactions in sensory neurons of the peripheral nervous system that contribute to inflammatory nociception following tissue injury. She hopes to identify new pharmaceutical targets for reducing inflammatory hyperalgesia, considered to be one of the most significant forms of pain in millions of Americans.
